Serena Yoakum

Serena Yoakum earned her BFA in Art and Technology with a minor in Screenwriting at The Ohio State University in May 2022. During her time at school, she enjoyed running Art and Tech Club as President and Animation Club as Treasurer.

 

Currently, she works as a Senior Animator for AfroDuck Studios, which is developing a fantasy Pan-African RPG called Zakumba: Astraia.

Serena was a Production Coordinator for WrightOne Media Group and managed the production of a short animated film.

​

Her passion for storytelling, world-building, character development, and animation makes her a great fit for creative teamwork. She aspires to work in several specializations within the animation industry, but 2D character animation predominantly calls her name.
